Previously, I mentioned working for a few essay writing (or academic writing) companies online. Almost always, I faced late payments and convoluted pay methods.
Both companies (Allwriting and EssayWriters) paid me, although AW owes me a bit and hasn’t responded yet and EW lacks projects. Unfortunately, I always get some sort of paranoid feeling in my gut when working for these companies, because you can find complaints against them all over the internet.
I’ve talked to people who have very good experiences with AW and EW; however, this doesn’t negate …

If you’re done with setting up a Paypal account, it’s time to go on the next step: verification.
At first I was a bit apprehensive about verifying my Paypal account. I know, it’s stupid. I’ve completed the first step, only to chicken out on the second. Paypal was asking for my credit card number and paranoia just kicked in.
But there’s actually one very good reason to verify that eventually got me to relent: verification actually helps protect your identity. It’s a good way for Paypal to guard …

Ever since receiving funds from Paypal became available for the Philippines, tons of people decided they’d sign up for this program, too. In fact, that’s exactly what happened to me. I was always apprehensive about getting freelance work from overseas because the Western Union and bank transfer fees are steep. With Paypal, I sort of felt the floodgates for money-making open.

I started writing for Informative Post a few months ago and I finally got my payment!
Well it’s not exactly done; the check’s still pending clearance with Paypal, but what the hell. The point is, it’s there. It’s not much: $28++ for approximately 7 articles of 300 words each.
So how does Informative Post work? Basically, you sign up, choose a topic (Technology, Science, World&Business, Sports, Entertainment and Gaming) and write a decent information/opinion article that people will be interested in.
The keyword here is interest. Though you earn …

I’m sort of worried right now.
I’ve been writing for both AllWriting.Net and EssayWriters.Net for less than a month, and I was supposed to get my first paycheck from AW sent to my Paypal account last May 1, but I didn’t. I tried sending messages to AW several times but no one would answer me.
I tried to maintain my composure, but as days passed I started getting more agitated. Threatening them with not writing my pending projects seemed to be useless. I still got no response.
So, short of …

Yes, it works.
One of the biggest worries I had when I started out with Paypal was that this faceless entity would find some way to swallow my meager earnings. It’s stupid and unfounded and unnecessarily paranoid. Trust me, I know. But for someone raised to never trust even the most reliable of banks, a foreign web …erm… thing doesn’t seem like the most believable way to handle the product of my sweat and tears.
I signed up with Paypal because I didn’t have better options. In case …
