I’m Back!

Yes, everyone!  I’m finally back here online!
I have to admit that I’ve been a bit disheartened ever since my Google Page Rank dropped from PR2 to PR0.  I worked very hard to achieve a PR2, as you all know, and seeing it drop to nothing was just a bit painful.
I’m not really sure what happened, but I do remember that the last thing I did was install the Text Link Ads plugin.
I read somewhere that TLA can be quite a bane for bloggers, given that Google sort of really hates …

blogging, writing in general »

Decades ago, when I was a little girl listening intently in class, my teachers would often exhort us to keep journals, so that we might be able to improve our writing. These journals weren’t really specific; they were diary of sorts that we had to write in everyday. It wasn’t voluntary. We had to submit the journals by the end of the week so that our teachers might grade them.
I was sort of lazy then (as I am now), so I often wrote all my entries Friday …

After a few nights of sleepless obsession and clubbing myself over the head with my trusty slippers when I finally realized how freaking simple the solution to my problems were, I finally did it. This website is finally up and running.
I’m still a bit overwhelmed, since it takes quite a few more steps than usual to upload every single time. I still love everything about this blog, though, since it’s pretty much the product of my sweat and tears. This is the first time a blog has …

I’ve been working on my new website since last night, and I suppose I really bit off more than I could chew.
WordPress isn’t quite as easy as I imagined.
I had delusions that it would be sort of like blogger, which is pretty much idiot-proof, but no. It just had to be so difficult. Actually, it was the uploading part that was really difficult. Designing isn’t quite as hard.
Freehostia isn’t cooperating.
Anyway, if I’m still sane by then, I’ll direct you to my new website. If.
XOXO,

Playing Lone Ranger can get a little too old.

I’m not exactly fond of talking to people — probably the reason why I got so obsessed with writing in the first place. In fact, I’d rather get lost than ask for directions; I’m just stupid that way.
I realized, though, that sticking to a grand total of zero friends can’t get you far enough, especially when you’re trying to earn a few bucks. My first attempts at earning as a writer went down the drain because I lacked opportunities. …

I have to admit I’m a fan.

Rarely do we find great writers online. Sure, blogs are a dime a dozen, but it’s pretty difficult to find something that really makes your day with every post. With no pressing deadlines at the office, I usually spend most of my time reading the fabulously cynical WaiterRant.Net — blog of the most philosophical and humorously engaging waiter you will ever meet.

I love blogging.

As you can see in my personal blog, blogging is my satori. It’s my catharsis. I rant, I rave, I froth at the mouth. I dance around in my underwear — figuratively speaking, that is. It’s my heart and soul on a platter, served up to anyone who would be so kind as to read.
I’ve been blogging for more than two years now. My first blog was on Xanga, but it didn’t exactly last because I spent most of my posts drooling over …
