Freelance Writing Job = Get Paid

3 May 2008 3 Comments

I’m sort of worried right now.

I’ve been writing for both AllWriting.Net and EssayWriters.Net for less than a month, and I was supposed to get my first paycheck from AW sent to my Paypal account last May 1, but I didn’t. I tried sending messages to AW several times but no one would answer me.

I tried to maintain my composure, but as days passed I started getting more agitated. Threatening them with not writing my pending projects seemed to be useless. I still got no response.

So, short of tearing my hair out, I started looking for ways to contact AW.

That’s where paranoia kicked in. Nearly every site I ran into had something bad to say about AllWriting.Net and EssayWriters.Net. It’s not that I didn’t even do my homework prior to working for both companies. I did look them up. Still, I met people in PinoyMoneyTalk who are paid regularly for their freelance writing.

Now I re-read the terms of agreement of AW and realized that payment will only be cleared once the project clears the 20-day mark. Twenty days after the submission of your project, you can request for payment. That means my first payment should arrive on May 4, which is tomorrow.

I’ll let you know what happens.

*cliffhanger!*

PS: I’m nowhere near the payment mark for EW yet, so I can’t vouch for it. If I do get paid you’ll hear about it.

XOXO,
