I mentioned here a while back that I was getting antsy after not receiving my paycheck for last May 1. I’m slightly ashamed to say that I went ballistic on AllWriting.Net’s messaging system, sending messages in ALL CAPS and threatening not to work on my last pending project.

On hindsight, I feel horrible, because if they really had a problem with holidays (I’m not quite a believer) then I’d be some stupid person going crazy over nothing. Then again, as a writer who’s dealing with nothing more than a faceless agency, I think my response after four days of not getting any answers isn’t so over-the-top.

Anyway, they promised to pay me Monday, which may be today or tomorrow, depending wherever the hell they are right now. I’ll let you know what happens.
