I started writing for Informative Post a few months ago and I finally got my payment!

Well it’s not exactly done; the check’s still pending clearance with Paypal, but what the hell. The point is, it’s there. It’s not much: $28++ for approximately 7 articles of 300 words each.

So how does Informative Post work? Basically, you sign up, choose a topic (Technology, Science, World&Business, Sports, Entertainment and Gaming) and write a decent information/opinion article that people will be interested in.

The keyword here is interest. Though you earn a certain sum (depending on the topic) automatically once your article gets published, you get a certain portion of your earnings from the traffic it generates. You can submit it to Digg or some other similar site to increase your revenue.

It’s not exactly a full time writing job, since it takes quite some time for an article to get published. Obviously, there are tons of writers seeking to cash in on this blog-like source of income. If you’re patient, though, it could be a good, sweat-free way of earning a bit more money online.
