Izea’s Newest Brain Child: SocialSpark

31 May 2008 No Comment

As you know, I’m pretty much a rookie when it comes to paid blogging. I’ve been a blogger for nearly three years, but my foray into the world of paid blogging began just a few weeks back, right after I signed up for PayPerPost. But since I’m a newbie, my steps have been quite wobbly, and I’m not always sure if I’m doing this right.

Enter IZEA’s latest brain child: SocialSpark. IZEA is the parent company behind the ever popular PayPerPost, and it’s different in the sense that it’s also a social networking site and it allows much easier interaction between advertisers and bloggers. A few minutes after I put up my own profile in SocialSpark, I immediately received friend requests from bloggers and advertisers alike.

It’s precisely this interactivity that I loved immediately about SocialSpark. I’m inept at paid blogging, obviously, and I’m not yet good enough to gain clients in PPP’s Direct. With SocialSpark, advertisers can easily search for bloggers whose niche matches their own needs, and that’s it: instant connection. That said, there’s a lot more freedom in SocialSpark that allows both advertisers and bloggers to fulfill their goals and promotional needs.

Since it’s a networking site, joining SocialSpark can also become a means for a blogger to increase his network of online friends and supporters. Apart from the ability to check out opportunities directly through the site, the blogger also comes across fellow bloggers who can become his social network. It’s not just a forum for paid blogging opportunities; it’s now a way for a blogger to gain more online popularity.

I find the FAQ section a bit insufficient, as of now, as I would really like to learn more about how SocialSpark can be different or similar to PPP. Or maybe I just need to take more time reading through all the means and ways by which the site can be of help to a newbie like me. I could also check out the video tutorials to improve my experience as a new member of SocialSpark.

So if you do have time, you might want to try out SocialSpark with me. Check out my profile and maybe sign up for your account. It’s like hitting two birds with one stone.

XOXO,
