If the title strikes you as a bit too enthusiastic, it’s because I am.

I’m seriously stoked now that it’s less than a month before my birthday comes around. Instead of waiting for you people to send me presents, though, I guess this is a very good chance for me to give back to everyone who helped make this blog a success (albeit a minor one).

Thanks to everyone who visits this blog from time to time, I managed to scrounge up a bit in earnings. I suppose I’ll be an ingrate if I don’t give back some, right?

So then, I decided to offer everyone a shot at a few cool prizes by launching my very own “It’s My Birthday Contest”! Nothing fancy here, though. I don’t have enough money to spring for gizmos and shiny stuff. What I do have, however, is an eye for interesting and helpful books.

Without further ado, here are the prizes up for grabs in my “It’s My Birthday Contest”!

Prizes

First Prize: June Casagrande’s best-seller, Grammar Snobs Are Great Big Meanies: A Guide to Language for Fun and Spite (1 Winner) + 1 signed copy of Mortal Syntax from June Casagrande herself!

Second Prize: 1000 Entrecard Credits each (2 Winners)

Third Prize: 500 Entrecard Credits each (5 Winners)

Contest Mechanics

1. *Required* Subscribe as a reader (e-mail delivery) by using the form below. Those who are already subscribed e-mail readers also count (there are currently 4). This gets you 1 raffle entry.

2. *Required* Blog about this contest and get 10 additional raffle entries.

3. *Optional* Sign-up with at least one of my sponsors. You don’t have to spend anything, and you even get a shot at the $10 bonus offered by PepperJamNetwork. Plus it’s really a win-win thing, since both sponsors offer means for us bloggers to earn more. You have to sign-up using the banners below. If you signed up with PJN using my previous post, that counts, too. This gets you 5 raffle entries per sponsor you sign-up with.

When you’re done, just leave a comment below and I’ll add your entries to the raffle list. Winners will be picked using random.org (or something like it). The entire “drawing of winners” process will be transparent, rest assured.

Anyway, so that’s that. I know it’s not much but I do hope you’re still interested If there are sponsors who want to join in on the fun, just drop me a line and we can work something out.

@kat - Yehey! Thanks po. That means you get a total of 21 entries! Regarding the $10, you have to join any of the affiliate programs in pepperjam and get approved (super easy, as in). Sometimes you have to remind them that you should get the $10 bonus That’s what I did. Their support is super fast. I recommend becoming an affiliate of the pepperjam program itself.
