Previously, I mentioned working for a few essay writing (or academic writing) companies online. Almost always, I faced late payments and convoluted pay methods.

Both companies (Allwriting and EssayWriters) paid me, although AW owes me a bit and hasn’t responded yet and EW lacks projects. Unfortunately, I always get some sort of paranoid feeling in my gut when working for these companies, because you can find complaints against them all over the internet.

I’ve talked to people who have very good experiences with AW and EW; however, this doesn’t negate the fact that there are tons of people out there who rant about getting scammed. So, I decided to find another essay writing company that doesn’t have this baggage to begin with.

Length of service+lack of complaints is always a winning combination, so Custom Papers seemed like a good choice. At first I was put off by its long unpronounceable name (korepetycje.com) and was afraid that this was another of those “Russian” scammers. Still, the positive feedback that the rest of the writing world gave the company was more than enough guarantee for me.

I immediately e-mailed support@custompapers.com and received a swift response from their representative, Miriam. She was nice, accommodating and no-nonsense. I was asked to submit my resumé and several samples of my previous works. A few hours later, I was accepted, got my own e-mail and was given access to the projects. The process was swift and painless.

The system of getting a project is a bit similar to AW; you have to “bid” for a project by indicating how much you would be willing to receive for a particular project. For new writers like me, the price per page is usually $11. Not bad, if you ask me, considering I’ve written for much less before. I know it’s still not gold, but hey, at least they pay a lot more than that scammer who vanished without a trace.

What I particularly love about Custom Papers is that they don’t have a complicated payment process. Just complete the project, request money through Paypal and there you go. The response is swift and you don’t have to wait for scheduled payments. Of course the pay will be delayed some times, but tell me, which other company will pay you per project and not make you wait an entire month before you get your hands on your hard-earned money?
