A Brief Plug for My New Website: Geek Chic Guru
I wasn’t always as tech-savvy as I am now.
Of course, being a techie geek doesn’t just mean being updated with all the latest gizmos that the world has to offer. That I learned the hard way, after an ex-officemate pointed out that I was being shallow and had little to no idea what “technology” really entailed.
Anyway, I’m still not an expert, but more than two years of immersion with the tech-savviest of people has somehow rubbed off on me. I now know what PHP means, and I can actually edit MySQL for my websites. The girl who used to rely on HTML can now understand other forms of web design and support.
This increase in knowledge has, unfortunately, also increased my appetite for gadgets. Now I have external hard drives, flash disks, a Macbook and gazillions of software. I didn’t know life was this wired, but now I’m hooked.
So I decided I wanted to put up my own website on gadgets, software and accessories that I love. After all, I’m still a girl (no matter how geeky), and I love pretty yet functional gadgets. It’s got to be a combination of fashion+technology to catch my eye.
This is where my new website, Geek Chic Guru, comes in. I’ve seen a lot of cool items that double as gadgets and accessories, and I can’t help but share these finds. From sushi-styled flash disks to the latest camcorders, I’ll share them all with you.
Just drop by my website for a quick look. It’s a really new site, so there are few posts up right now, but I’m diligent (and inspire!) so expect a new post everyday. Shameless plugging, I know, but there’s no better way to get it up and running than this, darlings.
Do check it out: Geek Chic Guru.
XOXO,
